How do you create a category or sub-category in your PIM solution?
How do you create a category or sub-category? There's no need to ask! In this video, you'll see all the steps you need to take to manage your account independently and easily.
Step 1 « Add a category or sub-category »
First of all, you need to organise your Excel file, so insert a column containing all the categories linked to the products, and you can also create another column with the product sub-categories if there are any.
Step 2 « Mapping »
Once you have created your Excel column with product categories and sub-categories, you will need to go to "Classification (system)" when importing.
Your category is added in level 1, the sub-category is added in level 2. If you have other sub-families, you can create other levels after your sub-categories.
Once you've done this, you go to your products, and you can see that on the "Classification" tab you have your categories that correspond to your products. And on the "Category" tab, you can view all the categories and sub-categories that exist.
