Media imports
In our new video series dedicated to "Media Imports", we take a look at how images, videos and other visual elements are brought to life within your PIM solution. This import is particularly interesting for companies that don't have control over their images, as it enables images to be retrieved from sites via URL links.
Step 1:
Go to Settings, then Exchanges, then Imports. Click on media import.
Step 2:
You must download the SolidPepper example file to respect the expected column structure (asset_url, asset_folder, asset_profile, asset_name, sku). The columns that need to be filled in are asset_url and sku. The second column allows images to be sent directly to the files in the Media section, the third column allows defined profiles to be applied and the asset_name allows images to be renamed as required.
Step 3:
We import our file, go to Media and check that our URLs have been imported and that the images are in the right folders.
